Rotate PDF pages

On your device

PDF files only

Rotate PDF turns sideways or upside-down pages the right way up and saves the new orientation in the file, so the document opens correctly for everyone. Rotate every page at once, or select only the pages that need it. This is different from rotating the view in a PDF reader, which usually isn't saved when you close the file. Phone scans and mixed portrait/landscape documents are the usual reason people need it. PDFEdit rotates pages inside your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded, and it's free with no sign-up and no watermark.

FAQ

How do I rotate a PDF and save it?

Rotate the pages here, click Apply changes and download. The new orientation is written into the PDF.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Use the rotate icon on that page's thumbnail, or select the page and click Rotate left or Rotate right. Other pages stay as they are.

Why does my PDF rotate back when I reopen it?

Many PDF viewers only rotate the view and don't save it. Downloading a rotated copy from PDFEdit stores the rotation in the file itself.

Can I undo a rotation?

Before you click Apply changes, click Discard changes. Your original file is never modified.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Rotation runs in your browser.
