Merge PDF files without uploading them

On your device

PDF · up to 500 MB per file (100 MB on phones and tablets)

Merge PDF combines several PDF files into one document, in the order you choose. Add your files, drag them into place and download a single PDF. PDFEdit does the merging inside your browser, so your contracts, invoices or bank statements are never sent to a server. That also means there is nothing to wait for while files upload, no account to create and no watermark on the result. It's free, with no daily limit. Merge accepts PDF files only; if some of your pages are photos or scans saved as images, turn them into a PDF with JPG to PDF first, then merge.

FAQ

Are my PDFs uploaded when I merge them?

No. The files are read and merged by your browser on your own device. They are not sent to PDFEdit's servers or to anyone else.

How do I change the order of the files?

Drag the file cards up or down, or use the Move up and Move down buttons, before you click Merge PDF. The file at the top becomes the first pages of the merged document.

Is there a limit on how many files or how big they can be?

There's no daily limit on how often you merge. Each PDF can be up to 500 MB on a computer or 100 MB on a phone or tablet. Very large batches can be slow because your device does the work; if that happens, merge in two batches and then merge the results.

Can I merge a JPG or other image with a PDF?

Not in one step, because Merge only accepts PDFs. Convert the image with JPG to PDF or Image to PDF, then merge the new PDF with your other files.

Will the merged file have a watermark?

No. PDFEdit doesn't add any watermark, logo or "made with" text to your document.
